tRANSELEMENt split in 2005, when co-songwriter Jay Stansfield went off to do his own thing. The band left an interesting legacy of offbeat Leftfield sounds, occupying a groove far from the mundane and the mainstream. They recorded albums: Sourblaster (on Creeping Bent) and Pendletones, and did two Peel sessions.
